The artist, born in 1965 and currently living in Eindhoven, likes to use different materials and combines various painting techniques in his works of art. You can see this in many of his paintings, for example through structures and contours applied to the canvas, creating beautiful 3D effects.

In his artworks, John DutchArt likes to work with colours that flow smoothly into each other, topped with lively and dynamic lines or shapes in complementary colours. His paintings are almost always built up in layers, sometimes up to 8 layers to create the right effect in varying light under different angles.
